I can't see newest album/pic

I have random/popular module active, but I can't see the options in my Random/Popular section of the admin panel. What I wanted to do is to activate the newest picture and newest album. I tried going to the themes but is not there either.

Did you try this (assumes you're using Matrix):

Site Admin > Themes > Matrix
Then ensure you have the Random Image block in your sidebar. Now click on Random Image and select Recent Image. If you want the Recent Album as well, just add the Random Image block again and select it's setting.

I know it seems a little buried, but it's a lot more configurable than it was.
