<Hey all,
Hoping you can help me out here, Im veyr much a beginner in these areas!
I have access to a webserver of a friend which runs plesk. Within plesk is a number of applications I can install including Gallery. When I first started using it the version of gallery was 1.4.3 this is what I currently use as can be seen at www.adrenalinone.co.uk/gallery The version of Plesk has now been upgraded and as a result my gallery does not show as an installed application anymore. (Still works fine tho) The new version of Plesk now includes 1.4.4 of gallery which I have installed to smithster.co.uk/gallery This seems a much nicer version and I would love to upgrade my 1.4.3 to 1.4.4 Only problem is im not seeing a way of doing this or importing my pictures and albums from one to the other!!
For some reason installing 1.4.4 is only installing to the http://domainname.... as opposed to www.domainname..... and I can't find an option to enable this!
If anyone can supply an answer to either the www. query and more importantly the upgrading from one version to the other it would be absolutely fantastic.
Sorry if i've missed something in my searching, have searched for a few things but not really sure what im looking for!!!
Thanks in advance.

It's hard to tell you how to use a third-party app like plesk. The easiest way to upgrade is to just get the newer version and copy it over your gallery directory. Point it to your albums directory and it will update them for you.
As to where to put the URL, that's an option in the config wizard.
