When I navigate via the Mambo G2 component via the album manager. The album highlight image is broken in the album details section. How do I fix the broken image and make it appear?

Everything works fine in the stand alone install of G2. The album highlight image shows correctly.

I'm using G2B3 and 2.0.6 Mambo/G2 component.

Thanks.

As far as I can tell my paths are correct.

Here's the path.

...com/mambo/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=22&g2_serialNumber=2

Any help appreciated.

can you give me your url, i can see the paths that are generated by the component and see if there is something wrong with them.

if album highlights work in front-end they should work in back-end.

make sure you have g2 version 0.9.31 and not 0.9.17

Thanks for your help.

The Mambo install is at www.test.com/mambomilos/

The URL from my post above is:

www.test.com//mambo/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=22&g2_serialNumber=2

Where can I read the exact version number. I see this and more if I grep the directory for G2.

modules/core/CoreModuleExtras.inc: case '0.9.13':
modules/core/CoreModuleExtras.inc: case '0.9.14':
modules/core/CoreModuleExtras.inc: case '0.9.15':
modules/core/CoreModuleExtras.inc: case '0.9.16':
modules/core/module.inc: $this->setVersion('0.9.17'); /* Update CoreModuleExtras::upgrade also! */

I also don't see it in my config. file.

Thanks.

I updated my G2 core install. Now "Info" shows as following on Mambo G2 component page.

Gallery Core: 0.9.31
Component version: 2.0.6.B.1
Warnings: SEF is enabled in mambo, this is not yet supported in this component!

The images from w/in component/g2/album management are still broken.

This is the URL of the image from w/in component admin:

http://www.test.com/mambomilos/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=41&g2_serialNumber=15&g2_GALLERYSID=e427c5fa0a03daec787df95511c45aa8

This is the correct url of the highlight thumbnail directly from G2:

http://www.test.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=41&g2_serialNumber=15

So the paths are wrong in Mambo/G2/Component. The problem is that in the config of the component the paths are showing correctly.

Hi Michiel,

I am having the same problem, I think. Gallery2 works perfectly well by itself, but when implemented into mambo, I have broken image links.

Check this out:

http://erikamiklosa.com/component/option,com_gallery2/Itemid,1/ (What is Itemid, because it doesn't work without it, it falls apart even more?)

Plus, it changes the language to Hungarian but the accented letters are messed up. Alo when I navigate to the Components/Gallery2/Config on the administrator site, again, my Hungarian characters are messed up. Any ideas?

I uploaded your "fix" and that didn't fix it.

Thanks for your help.

I love this gallery, but I'd like to be able to use it properly. :-)

Thanks,
Agi
