Hi Michiel, When I synch up mambo and G2 users, things seem to work fine. However, I have the following questions: 1. Given a user in G2 (who is also a registered user in Mambo), how can I see what group he is in? I know he is supposed to be in Registered Users, but how can I see that? 2. How can I see the members of the Registered Users group in G2? There is no 'members' link to display them? 3. Is the mambo-G2 user synch only necessary initially? ie. Afterwards, are all new registered users in mambo automatically added to G2's registered users group? Using component 2.05, July 7 nightly build of G2-b3+. Thanks. |

go to g2 site admin -> groups
there's no view which lists per user what groups the user is in (may be useful, but we don't have something like that, yet)
2. site admin -> groups -> view members of registered users
3.
this will change with an upcoming version of mambo. for now, this sync' is only required initially, but if you later change the password / user data in mambo or delete a user in mambo, it won't be synchronized (with the new mambo version, this will change)
i'm not the maintainer of this mambo integration, just answering for michiel.

1, not quit sure it was already in the last relaise but it will be in next, go to the user_management link in the back-end portion of the component and click on that user name, it will give some user info including all the groups he is part off.
2, groups will also be supported in the next relaise.
3. once synced you probably won't need to do it again unless a user changes his accaunt, but all this fixed in next relaise and with mambo 4.5.3
next relaise is the magic word at this moment ;)
