I have been a gallery user for quite some time now and I recently installed Gallery 2 (lastest release) and am having a problem migrating albums. I have searched the forum and sticky's but did not see anything like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I attempt to migrate this is what I get:

Error (ERROR_MISSING_VALUE)
in modules/migrate/classes/Gallery1DataParser.class at line 76
in modules/migrate/classes/Gallery1DataParser.class at line 296
in modules/migrate/ChooseObjects.inc at line 180
in modules/core/SiteAdmin.inc at line 161
in modules/core/classes/GalleryView.class at line 216
in main.php at line 304
in main.php at line 103

I am running Gallery on SME server distro 6.1

Thanks. Any info or direction would be great!

This error indicates the userdb.dat file in the G1 location you specified is missing or empty.

Note to self: better checking for missing files with more descriptive errors.

Thanks for the information. I went back and re-built my gallery 1.5, clean install. I then added several pictures and attempted to migrate. Still getting the same error.

Any other ideas? Thank you.

I think this error is due to a access problem. I also have a SME 6.1 and have the same error.

If you copy all your g1 albums in a temporary folder on your g2 folder, I'm sure that it will work. I'll try that.

Edit : I confirm, it's working. You just have to copy all your albums somewhere in your G2 ibays.

Now the question is : This error is an access problem, why doesn't it appear as an access error in G2 ?
