Hi All I've just prepared an updated random_block for Gallery 1.5 and PostNuke .76RC4b. Get it from my site It's based on Joerg's .55a version for PostNuke and includes a slideshow option which is why I did the mods. |

I'm getting a document.images.randomimage29 has no properties error, and the slideshow does not work on this module from marblebay.
any suggestions?
everything else works, so hopefully, this little javascript error can be fixed for my older versions...

Thanks for this block! I just installed it and tested it out and it is working great! However, I did find one item missing from the instructions. Once you copy the pnBlocks folder into /modules/gallery/pnBlocks, you need to go into the postnuke administration/modules and reactivate the gallery module so that it will find the random block. Otherwise when you go to blocks you won't see it as an option under new blocks.
thanks again!

I have installed the most recent version of random block, 4.02 I think on several PN750 Gold sites it works on some, not others. The variable that is causing the problem is the theme. Doesn't anyone have a list of themes that are known to run with PN750 Gold Gallery and Random block photos?

You're going to have to be more specific about which random block you're talking about, and where you got it. The block-random.php that comes with Gallery is the same version as whatever version of Gallery it came from.
The Gallery block-random.php file has no formatting and should be completely unaffected by what skin/theme you're using.

The block is not showing up in PostNuke 760 when trying to Add New Block
How do you install this ?

I am pretty sure this block does not work with PostNuke .760. I added it to my gallery folder and regenerated/reactivated the gallery module. Then when I went to add the block the "New Block" link would open to a blank page. If I deleted pnblocks from the /gallery folder then regenerated/reactivated the gallery module the "New Block" link would work. Something in /gallery/pnblocks does not work with the new Postnuke.
However, you can still get random images by using a php/block and following these instructions:

A friend of mine is having the same with the autotheme. Will this be fixed? Or do we just have to use another?
