Comments and everyone permissions

I'm having some odd problems with permissions. In G1.5 I allowed anyone to view and add comments on all of the pictures. I didn't initially turn on comments in G2 so added it later. If I add the permission to add, search and view comments, the album I added to vanishes for unregistered users. .. hmm quick modify.. for an example.

The June Page currently has the effective permission of "Registered Users" - View all versions and "Everybody" view all versions. There are no comments allowed.

.. and I just installed the nightly build and the problem is already fixed.

not sure if i understand you correctly:

steps to reproduce:

1. edit permission on top level album, give everybody group "view all versions" if it didn't already have it
2. create album TEST in G2
3. edit permission on TEST, add "add, view, search" comments to everybody group

now, everybody shouldn't see album TEST anymore. or at least, that's what you say.
for me, everything is fine after these 3 steps.
