G2 - Mambo - SWmenuFree DHTML menu issue

I have current G2 (b3) Mambo 4.5.2 and SWmenuFree DHTML menu system installed. When I "Unpublish" the Mambo menu and Publish the DHTML one instead, all is well except that G2 pushed the DHTML menu block completly out so it does not appear. When I turn back on Main Menu (Mambo) it is fine. Any clues?

No hurry here but is it related to the two databases that mambo and galley2 use? In this thread there was a discussion about a simmilar issue with smf and swmenu free:

I solved this issue by merging my gallery2 database into the existing mmbo database. I can't tell you why it works but it is fine now.
