I believe there where some major changes in a way how gallery2 works in recent couple of weeks. As result of this changes Drupal integration is broken. Drupal integration is using [“layoutData
Black_MDK, you should inform the author of the integration (walkah). maybe add a note on the drupal site http://drupal.org/project/gallery .

Thank you for your fast response!
The short version...
I have successfully Durpal (several times to go through the process and make sure I understand it). Have successfully integrated many modules to make sure I understand that architecture.
Then I installed G2. I have done several G2 installs so I am very familiar with it too.
I downloaded your integration tarball and followed the instructions. I copied the gallery.module to the modules directory per the instructions (above the gallery2 directory), enabled gallery in Administrator/modules, then went to enable Gallery2 in the blocks per the instructions.
But I am not seeing any reference to Gallery2 anywhere.
I must be missing a step because I cannot see any blocks, anything, in reference to the Gallery2 installation. Are there further instructions I need to follow for integration into Drupal?
If needed, I can give you access to the install.
Will look forward to your response.

In rereading, I see you appear to have made some changes and posted them to the Drupal site. It has not been answering for me all day so am unable to see your postings on this. I will attempt to get in a look for your modifications there if this is what I believe you are saying. Hopefully yes. Am very, very interested in how this can integrate.

Gallery2 is still beta and with same changes that where done in core of g2 drupal integration got broken. This does not mean that you canot use it just some functionality is not there. From your post I cannot see if gallarey menu is enabled (it must be) and you need gallery block. if this does not work msg me and we will see what next

Hi,
I have Gallery 2 Beta 3 and Drupal 4.6.2 with gallery.module installed.
Is this down to waiting for the Drupal module to be updated?

In your case a think you have a problem with your gallery2 instalation this does not have anything to do with drupal. You should get your G2 fully working before looking at integration.

Just posted to the "Drupal 4.5 & G2" sticky topic. Missed this, more applicable and current one. Woops.
Anyway, I wont repeat except to say I'm having path issues with G2b3 and Dupal-4.6.2. Base functionality works but not ZIP uploads, crop applet, remote, etc. Wierd. Would love to help figure this out but need a nudge in the right direction.

Here is the current attempt at G2 and Drupal 4.6. Yes, gallery is enabled.
Follows are the errors. Am sure you have seen these but felt I would add them anyway....
warning: requireonce(gallery2/modules/core/classes/ExternalIdMap.class): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /Users/artworld/Sites/cms/modules/gallery2/modules/core/classes/GalleryCoreApi.class on line 2470.
Fatal error: requireonce(): Failed opening required 'gallery2/modules/core/classes/ExternalIdMap.class' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /Users/artworld/Sites/cms/modules/gallery2/modules/core/classes/GalleryCoreApi.class on line 2470

Hi,
I have Gallery 2 Beta 3 and Drupal 4.6.2 with gallery.module installed.
Unfortunately I don't seem to have a file upload or gallery creation menu - is anyone else having this problem?
