Any dummy guide for Gallery?

I have used Gallery for years. Recently I tried to teach a couple of people to use an installed G2. They are experienced pc user but have little-more-than-none knowledge on online albums. I am quite used to brief people of various backgrounds on technical things. But on the first 5 minutes both of my students started to confuse and in the next 15 minutes they sought excuses to escape from learning it I know they will be better off if I tune my speed 10 times slower. But I don't have that much time to spend on them and they have to become expert users asap. So I was wondering if there is any dummy guide for Gallery. I have seen books for postnuke, phpnuke, xoops, and as such, but none on Gallery. I really wish there is one for Gallery, even for G1 would be good! Anyone? |

For G1, there are more and more docs (here and on codex.gallery2.org).
For G2, there exist nearly no docs. This will change in 1-2 months.

valiant, thanks for telling the codex which I didn't know. Will check it out as well as the future G2 docs. I hope those G1 docs authors will beef up their writings to make a book. I have the contacts of an ebay dummy guide author who may help linking up to a publisher. Contact me when needed : )
