Features to consider

It would be useful to have these abilities:

- A means to track who visited and when (into a database or text file, managed via web interface)... and other statistics about the visitor(s).

- An ofoto.com-like process to send an "invite" to see the gallery, and track who has responded to the invite (per the above)

- Perhaps more plug-in for using other services like ofoto.com.

Thanks!

The new G2 module interface will make it easy to write modules like this.

there's plenty of visitor logging programs out there, if you look on sourceforge you'll find awstats and plenty of other good ones

Yes, I'm aware of web log programs; what I was referring to was something more specifically geared for use within Gallery. Check out ofoto.com and their logging features which you can track. Very useful.

I think this is a great suggestion! I really need to know what my audience is so I can setup my photos to better serve the internet public. Please include itas soon as possible.

The earlier versions of the Applician State University Software called "php WebSite" had an excellent version that reported the url's of the webpages where the visitor came from. This is discussed at length in the "Acknowledgements" (click on it in main menu) at
