I'm getting the same error. After the final step of the initial configuration wizard, after you click "Save Config" button, at the very top it then says "admin passward has been changed" at the next screen then "Configuration successfully saved" window:

I have a feeling the program is changing the password of what I put on the inital setup.

Hello nicanor76,

The Password for the user admin is only changed if you entered a password in step2.

Does this happen any time you finish the config wizard ?
Even if you did nothing ?

Regards,

Jens

Yes, even on the initial setup, not just on resetting the password. I can't log in as admin or do anything else because of it. Not saying it definitely changes the password, I think it is but either way I still can't log in using the password I put in.

When you configured the first time you got:

An account called admin has been created for you with the password you specified.

Whenever you change the pw you get the message you posted.

Regards,

Jens

I get that screen even on the inital setup when I 1st setup the configuration. I tried erasing the config file and starting from scratch also, every single time I get the message and I have never been able to log into the admin account using the password I created during setup.

I think I got it. The ".htaccess" file disappeared. I created a new one then erased the config.php file and started over. It let me in this time. I guess the 35th time's the charm :-? I changed the web address to IP address as well, maybe had somethign to do with it??
