Hello !

I try to use Nokia Image Uploader feature using web-browser as mentioned in readme file by using following address:

http://cmttd..../gallery2/main.php?g2_controller=nokiaupload:Login&Username=<username>&Password=<password>

(ofcourse replacing proper fields and removing brackets)

But instead, I get following error titled with

Quote:
Security Violation
The action you attempted is not permitted.

Back to the Gallery

with error details as follows:

Error (ERROR_PERMISSION_DENIED) :
in modules/core/classes/GalleryController.class at line 158 (gallerystatus::error)
in main.php at line 157 (gallerycontroller::loadcontroller)
in main.php at line 86
in main.php at line 77

I already activated Nokia Uploader Module and created album for uploading images.
Is anything wrong with my steps?

regards,

sorry, but that error means the module is not active.. after you configured the upload album you still need to click "activate"..

Ya, its not an error of gallery as I said its a page-error...

But after placing above mentioned address into web-browser, it shows the page with above mentioned data...
Is it an error or something I forgot to put ?
Is Nokia Upload Module accessible thru web-browser (becoz, readme file describe it)?

What happens when you follow the instructions in the README and enter that url into your Nokia?

Actually I ddnt enter any URL in my nokia (N6230, it is not compatible)..
But instead I follow the instructions as given in modules>nokiaupload>README file as

Quote:
If you don't have a mobile phone that supports the protocol you can still play with
the module. For example to login using the Image uploader module type
http://your.gallery/main.php?g2_controller=nokiaupload:Login&Username=<username>&Password=<password>
in your browser's address field.

And i got the page with above mentioned data...

any help ?

that's not an error.
if a compatible nokia phone got that response it would understand it.

The module does not show you the look and feel when you access it via a web browser.. it shows you exactly what it sends to a phone.
