Images corrupt after upload via GR

I have been running Gallery fine for ages - have recently upgraded my server version to 1.3.3.

Have also recently installed GR 1.0 (and subsequently upgraded to 1.01b2). Everything seems to work fine - login, upload, create album etc., but all photos which I upload (jpegs) end up corrupted on the server - see my gallery in either album.

Have tried setting resizeBeforeUpload=false and resizeTo=0,0, but makes no difference, although files ARE smaller on the server.

Appreciate any help ...

The URL you gave must be incorrect: I get an error page.

Oops - sorry I have moved gallery within Postnuke since I posted this message. Try New Home Page and click "Photo Gallery".

Apologies for the wild goose!

Nick.

These look like the upload is being cut-off. That's strange...

What happens when you upload using the web page (the 'Add Pictures' link on the site)?

Uploads via the web route are just fine - the problem only occurs with GR. The GR log (level 2) indicates that all has gone successfully - assuming that the records at the bottom of the log are the most recent.

Could it be a problem with ImageMagick?

If you're using resizeBeforeUpload=false, ImageMagick shouldn't be used, and the log should reflect that.

Have you tried uploading from a machine on another network? Do you want to create a test account so I can?

Yes - that would be great - I have sent you a private message with access details.

Paour,

Since we spoke last, I have moved my gallery back out of Postnuke to simplify things. It is now at http://www.cole2.com/gallery again.

I have set up a temporary user for you to use - will send another private message with details.

I have just checked, and am getting the same problem with GR uploads.

Nick.

P.S. I am running XP on my remote machine, and have seen mention in this forum of the XP web publishing support - is this related to GR in any way? Where can I find out about it?

Hey, sorry, I haven't had a chance to spend any time with GR (worked through the week-end). However, this thread might help.

Also, I must have missed the access instructions you said you'd sent, do you want to send them again?

Aha - having read that thread, there's nothing in the error logs, but I tried uploading a 2k image, and it worked fine. Getting late now, but I'll check again tomorrow, and try getting GR to resize the images a bit smaller ...
