I've reviewed other people's issues and done all I can I swear! I went through the whole process of setting up the latest and greatest version of gallery... got to the gallery after setup, went to login and it did nothing. I went to the FAQs and checked off everything they listed minus the whole .htaccess/windows thing. I'm not running off windows AND it was determined (after 4 tries) that the server won't allow .htaccess sooooo I can't modify that nor can I see any way of modifying the php securities on the server. Yes, my user/pass works on all other areas. Yes, I've tried other browsers. Yes, cookies enabled. And... yes, I even emptied Cache and tried that. Please help me... and help me to help you help me :-\ This is my first time using a messageboard and I'm very php limited. The URL I'm dealing with here is http://www.teenageheartthrob.com/gallery/ ---- |

What happens if you visit the login popup, and then when it closes and you are back to the gallery page you simply refresh by hitting "F5" or the refresh button? Sometimes it is as simple as the login popup not correctly triggering a refresh.
You might also check that the base domain of your albums and gallery url match. They should both be "domain.com" OR "www.domain.com". They should NOT each be different like "domain.com" for one and "www.domain.com" for the other.
If you are using 1.5, I think just using "/gallery" and "/albums" (no http://domain.com/) will work fine and maybe help ya.

It was the domain. I read that in other areas but I was thinking it referred to something else when I read it. Thank you Thank you Thank you! :D

I'm having the same problem, pretty much suddenly. I was having issues even logging into my domain for a while, but I was still able to use Gallery just fine. The other day I was adding some pictures and left and came back to do some more and it won't log me in at all. I tried clearing cookies, amoung everything else, but none of thats worked. The only thing I haven't tried is making sure the domain names are the same, but I don't even know where to look for that. There are so many file names, I wouldn't even know where to start! Any help is much appreciated!

I have this problem. How do I make it so they both match? Is there a file I edit?
Thanks,
Zack

Rerun the configuration wizard and change the URLs on step 2.
