[SOLVED] Sidebar peer items

Is the only way to remove the peer items on the sidebar to comment out the peer items code in the sidebar.tpl template?

try removing 'peers' in layout.inc

Cool! Thanks for the info mindless. I like the global effect of commenting out the code, but if I want to create a custom template it's good to know it can be controlled there as well.
