ID in Mambo URLs seems to be incorrect

I'm having trouble with the URLs generated by Gallery inside of Mambo. The Mambo ID that Gallery uses seems to be incorrect. I am using sub-menus in my mainmenu of Mambo which should stay open while browsing the Gallery. Unfortunately the sub-menu closes as soon as you click on a link in the Gallery. I am assuming that the ID that is used in Gallery's links is the problem. Is there a fix for this?

The Gallery is under Media in the mainmenu. The item just below the Gallery is Docman and this is also happening to it. How can I get the sub-menu to stay open when browsing gallery and docman?

Gallery doesn't control any Mambo UI. You may want to see if there's some CSS naming overlap that's causing the issue.

understood. I'm wondering why the links generated by the Gallery component inside of Mambo aren't working correctly. Seems like the links should have some sort of ID number in the URL for it to know which part of the site the link is coming from. It is my understanding that this ID is also what keeps the correct sub-menus open in the Mambo interface.

The only number that I'm aware of is the component ID, and that's clearly visible in the URL.
