G2 Site Mirroring

I know gallery1 has always had the option for setting up mirrors. Is this still an option in G2? I looked around but didnt see it anywhere.

Not yet, but it's planned. There already exists a feature request tracker or a task, don't remember, on sf.net.
If it won't be in the first release of G2, we will add it for G2.1 or G2.2.

I am just checking, G2.2 appears to be out and I've installed it and I can't find the mirroring option anywhere. So I assume it's not yet implemented. Is that correct?

If it's not available yet any update on when it might be? thanks very much.

(I looked in bugs and feature request on sf.net, I'm sure it's in there but I couldn't find it, tried mirroring in subject keyword search and came up empty)

G 2.0.2 is not G 2.2
G2.2 is half a year away. G 2.1 will be released in february or so. and the mirror option is definitely not in G 2.1.

there's no mirror feature in g2.2.
see http://gallery.menalto.com/sfvote/all . once the feature exists, it will be removed from that voting page.
and no, noone is working on such a feature to our knowledge.
