I have an embedded gallery in phpBB2 http://www.parkerpress.com/Family that doesn't look quite right... If I go to http://www.parkerpress.com/Family/gallery, it looks normal. But if I go click on the "Gallery" link from the phpBB board, I get a weird text-based version of it.

Any ideas???

TIA, Steve

Maybe this is just a "wishful thinking" issue on my part. I thought the "look and feel" of the non-embedded gallery would appear in phpBB2? If this is not true, then this is not an issue.

Specifically I was looking for the bblue "format" that you see when you go to the gallery site directly, rather than the "large text" format that I currently see in the phpBB version, which is so "large" that users have to scroll left/right as well as up/down.

If this was the intended result, then I'll just link to Gallery directly without embedding in in phpBB. It looks so much better there... :)

Thanks for the info.

You need to re-read the phpBB installation instructions. You're missing one of the CSS files that needs to be added to your phpBB skin.

That said, no. It's intentional that Gallery maintains the look and feel of your surrounding CMS. Adding the other CSS file will prevent the 'large text' issue you're seeing, however.

Thank you for the help. I scanned the doc. Obviously I need to RTFM, not STFM...

I really appreciate the feedback. And kudos on a great "application".... Now that I'm pseudo-production, donations are on their way.

Fixed. The issue was that a subtle new .css was added to file: phpBB2/templates/subSilver/overall_header.tpl since the last time I installed an old copy of Gallery. This .css is modules/gallery/css/base.css.default.

Thanks for providing directions to the root of the problem. Everythings cool now. :)

And let me tell you, it get's ugly without "base.css.default" in the overall_header.tpl file.

Thanks again!

Steve
