After installing the new traditional chinese language for v1.5, the view counters in my gallery site are all set to " 1 " and can't be accumulating anymore.

For that the english one's working pretty fine, I believe that's the problem of the new TC language pack.

Anyone having similar problem ?
Any suggestion on solving this ?

Thanks in advance !

:o
upgrade the language pack ?

sorry that I didn't make myself clear.
it's the newest language pack (TC one for v1.5) I was talking about that's having problem.
I installed the new v1.5 main module and the new language pack at the same time.

On the other hand, on trying to do the migration again just a few mins ago, there's something strange happened :

right after the migration, the vew counter's working fine.
the number was not just a fixed " 1 " but some 51x numbers.

however, after another configuration ( 1. configure.sh 2. configuration wizard ) for some other settings, everything went wrong.
some of the translations in the configuration wizard were gone, replaced with the original english language wording.
and most of all, after setting the system back to secure mode (with secure.sh ), the view counter turned into that unchangable " 1 "
I tried to run the setting again in hope there might be some change but it's still the same -- " 1 ". :-?

Is ther anything I missed on doing the migration ?
for it seems that the language file's corrent and it's just not working afterwards.

Found another weird phenomenon besides the one posted above :

on trying to reload the web page on my browser ( IE 6 ), the view counter became swinging back and force between " 1 " and " 562 ".

something like this,

" 1 " --> reload --> " 562 " --> reload --> reload --> " 1" --> reload --> " 562 " --> .....

I'm totally confused now. Is that the problem of the variable setting in the language files ?

Hello Wayne,

you are already using the 1.5 langpacks ?
okay, then its a simple caching issue :) know thing, no problem at all.

solution 1: sit and wait
solution 2: restart webserver

Hi Jens,

haha ..
So it's really that simple. How embarrassing.
I've just restart my webserver and it seems now working fine.

Thanks a lot !! :)

Have a nice day.
