[SOLVED] From Installation straight into Upgrade

I've done what I can to search through the forums for answers, but have found none. I installed G2 on my Macintosh to test it out, and it went up without any problems. I then tried installing on my website, and immediately after the installation it moves straight on into upgrading, when I haven't clicked "upgrade" or even seen the web site. Any help? Thanks in advance :-D

I must apologize... I fixed my own problem. Apparently the Zend compatibility mode (ze1_compatibility_mode within php.ini file) was on, and it cannot be on when using Gallery. I hope this helps anyone else who might run into this problem.

did you have installed G2 before?
if it does someting like that, it's probably because your g2data directory or the database were not empty before you did the install.
or... you have some old and new files in your codebase. ensure that in the installer step "systemcheck" all files are 100% ok.

fyi, beta-2 checks the ze1_compatibility_mode setting.
