Order search results by photo custom field?

Hi

Is it possible to order the search results by a custom field? Photo custom field is the year taken so numeric, eg 2005

Hi,

Do you know if this has been/can be implemented. I am pretty comfortable with PHP coding if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I may be wrong but I think that the Siriux theme has some of that
functionality (ordering pages by year). When I was developing my
own theme's flavour (from the excellent Siriux) I remember having
to take that ordering out. YMMV
