Blank dialog box on installation.

I am trying to install Gallery Remote on my new computer, but I get stuck using either install (VM or no VM). When I double-click on the install, I see the first dialog with a progress bar that goes by quickly (I think this is where it's uncompressing the archive) and then I am presented with a blank dialog box with the Gallery installer icon in the left of the title bar. That's it. All I can do is click the X to close it. The installation doesn't continue. I assume the dialog is asking me something, but I can't see it. The internal dimensions of the dialog is 387 x 237. I have J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 2 installed, although I have also tried it with 5.0 Update 1 installed. Is there a known problem with Java 5.0? I figured I should check before attempting to downgrade to 1.4.2. Thanks for any help! |

Hi there Andy,
I know it's been a while, but since you got as much support as I'm getting in this matter, could you tell me if you ever got past this problem with using GR? I'd appreciate any tips as I've found quite a few topics that match my problem(like yours), but unfortunately, all of our topics share another trait, that being a lack of support.
