*Security Violation* menalto 1.5-RC2 und Mambo 4.5.2

Hi @all,

i did the installation of mambo (4.5.2) and menalto gallery (1.5-RC2) today. Both are running fine.

Now i used Menalto Gallery Component (4.5.x) to use the gallery within mambo. I got an empty error-page with the error-message: Security Violation.

Does any body know, whats my mistake?

Operating system: Linux
Web browser/version (if applicable): Firefox, IE, ...

Hello Jürgen,

there is a global Variable named

$MOS_GALLERY_PARAMS['path']

There is a check if this is a path on your server. And not e.g. an URL to an outside location.
if this check fails, then the error message appears.

Hey Jens,

this global Variable is located in gallery.php? Both

mambo: /www/cms and
gallery: /www/menalto

are on the same server!

I´am not sure, what i have to change in gallery.php, that it works again?

Me too. I had moved my Gallery 1.5 install to a new server. Needed to adjust the path in the Gallery Component under Joomla 1.08.

I need help...

I have Security Violation message after change the provider of joomla site.

I move the joomla site in a different url, still link with the same gallery....but now i have the Security Violation message.

Do i need to change the addess on gallery Component (the addess of the gallery is the same, but now not on the same server...)
