Change what users can see in tree

Is there anyway to change gallery remote to only allow users to see albums they can upload to?

e.g. I don't want them to see (Read Only) albums. When they login with gallery remote I just want them to see the one album they can upload to.

I'm running g2 dark fibre.

You should only see the albums they can add files or subalbums to, or parents of such albums. Isn't that the case? Can you attach the log?

Currently my Gallery permissions are:

Gallery Root Permissions: Everybody can see "[core] All Versions" so they can see all the albums without having to login.

But, per album only one user has "All Access" and can upload pictures create sub-albums, etc.

This is still a problem. Anybody out there with this same issue?
