Hello everyone.
I use G1 for about 2 years now on my site and found that people don't get uploading correct. The find the way to upload pictures, but all ends in "all pictures in the main directory" as no one ever thinks to create a subdirectory before uploading.
I even "wrote" a manual for users, but still it didn't help.
So I have 2 suggestions to overcome this:
1)
Now with G2 I searched where I can configure that. So that if a user clicks on "Add Elements" the necessary Subdirectory is creaed and all his pictures are uploaded into it. That would make things much easier.
Even if he uploads pic by pic - as long as he is in this upload mode he stays in the directory. But it's difficult if he needs to create another new album, thus leading to
2) Couldn't there be a way of a workflow?
A user should be directed through it like - Create new directory - name directory - set permissions - upload pictures - next new directory
Ok it's more work to code that, but the user get's guided and thus creates less wrong uploads.

technobonn, I completely agree. This is something that we should script. I believe that we can do this in a separate module. Would you please file this as a feature request so that it's not forgotten? Thanks!
