gallery2 in an iframe

I'm trying to incorporate gallery2/alpha4 into my mambo site using an iframe (standard integration provided by a third-party connector, found on this site, does silly things like truncating large images, etc.) as seen here:

As you can see there are a few minor formatting issues with some of the table elements that aren't seen in the stand-alone gallery:

things that I see right away:
- second horizontal line is shorter than the first
- table detailing album title, date, size, owner is much more narrow than the other page elements; same goes for page# table at the bottom

I managed to disable the left menu bar, which really helps, but I'm also interested in removing/moving the gallery logo at the top of the page... any thoughts there? thanks!

I think someone is working on a real life Mambo integration? And if they aren't, it seems like that would be a better idea to work on than iframe tweaking, at least I think so. Course, that said I don't have a clue what goes into integration :)

I'd actually be great with integration if I could figure out how to solve two problems:

1. similar difficulties with the layout (as seen at: http://ramzvents.com/public/index.php?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=46)

2. large photos should open in a separate window because these images are truncated in the web page by my right-hand oriented windows...
