am i doing something wrong or this is suppose to be like this?

you'll see that i'm missing thumbnails some of those even place for thumbnails.. image opening is fine though

also

i'm unable to upload some of images to it

doesn't matter what i use applet or other way

not all images.. just some.. i can send them for you to check if you need that

or this is an aplha version and i should not expect much and thats normal behavor.. although i didnt had those problems on alpha3 or alpha2 and even alpha1

could you try the following:

flush the cache ( http://gallery2.alexus.org/lib/tools/test/ under core there is an option to flush cache)

turn on debug and see if there are any error messages...

Uninstall netpbm and gd, leaving just imagemagick

uninstall im as well and reinstall it.

if everything else fails... nah - one of these should fix it! :)

upload still doesn't work

through applet i get

Can you elaborate on the upload problem... (or may be even start a separate topic). does upload work through other means (browser, server)? do you get any errors in the log? Does the upload process start?
