I've just installed Gallery on my site, and am experiencing two problems: 1. When I try to do a fullscreen slideshow, I get an error message: Quote:
Error: Server contacted, but Gallery not found at this URL (http://online.trimergence.com/index.php?option=com_gallery&Itemid=26&include=gallery_remote2.php) I do have both NetPBM and ImageMagik installed, as well as jpegtran. I am able to use the full applet of RemoteGallery to upload images without a problem. Is there something I'm missing in terms of my setup to make sure that the fullscreen applet will work? (It's one of the reasons I decided to go with Gallery!) 2. Since I'm in the process of building this website, I don't have much content yet, so I'm not exactly sure when this happened -- either after installing Gallery, or after installing ImageMagik (which was after installing Gallery), I can no longer see any of my content. All content pages are completely blank (the "Home" page does show the Frontpage title, but no content). When logged in, the details, submit news, submit weblinks, all display okay, but still no actual content in any section displays - it's still there, but not showing on the frontend. Any ideas? Okay, I solved the second problem - it turns out I had uploaded the Mambot but it somehow wiped out my content display. Once I deleted the Mambot, my content displayed properly again.
So, I've still got the problem with not being able to do the "fullscreen" thing. I've read somewhere that it might have to do with being "inside" Mambo, but haven't found a solution. Also, I have the same problem when I access it outside of Mambo - so I'm guessing the problem is not (fully) related to Mambo.
Any ideas on what could be causing the problem with "fullscreen"? Or what I can try in order to fix it?
Thanks,
Scott

A little more playing around and I've got fullscreen working "outside" of Mambo, but still it won't work in the Mambo embedded version.
Any ideas?

Not sure if you are still looking for an answer on this, but I have a fix....
modules\slideshowapplet\SlideshowApplet.inc line 88:
change getCurrentUrlDir() to getCurrentUrlDir(true)
At least it fixed mine.
