Resize photos when uploading?

Where can i set so it would be like in G1 that when im uploading big photo it resizes it to 640x... ? I'm not talking about thumb.

Get the latest snapshot and enable the "size limit" module. Then you can specify the max size of photos per-album.

Ok... so something goes wrong... Im trying to upload 5Mpx picture and it says "WARNING: Cannot resize mime type image/jpeg ". It uploads it, but no thumb available and picture is not being resised. Whats wrong?
Oh and there is no upload applet like in G1?

make sure you have a graphics toolkit activated.
for applet enable the "remote" and "upload applet" modules.

flasht, let's do one step at a time... Deactivate Gd and NetPBM, leaving only ImageMagick active. (from this picture, without looking at the database it is not clear which toolkit actually tried to resize).

Go to Site Admin - ImageMagick and click on Test Settings. Make sure that they return success.

Also, the fact that the thumb is not available, seems to be a separate problem (although it may be caused by the same toolkit's malfunctioning)
