Hi All,

I already browsed all related topics however I still can't make Remote Applet even to load, it shows the progress bar and then freezes, can you help please. The gallery is embedded in custom CMS and I understand that this may have caused problems, but does the initial loading of the applet depend on this?

The gallery software is very good and it is a pity that the applets don't work with the custom CMS and user authentication schema. Surely there have to be ways making the applets work, but how? Help is highly appreciated!

Here is the info.

Java(TM) Plug-in: Version 1.4.2_06

How did you install Gallery on your server? Console or FTP?

It may be a MIME-TYPE problem: http://foto.germany.ru/gallery/java/GalleryRemoteAppletMini.jar is sent back as text, instead of a JAR file (you can test that in your browser).

I'm having the same problem - it's coming back as text. But I'm not sure how to fix that... any pointers you could give me? Is it something in my server config or my gallery config?

Thanks,
Scott
