i dont know what that means. quite honestly, this is one of the first times ive used cvs. it was fine earlier today except for one missing file which i posted about. and when i tried another cvs update, i ran into that wall

try again.. it may have cleared up by now. if not then some cvs command must have died in the middle and we'll get the sourceforge people to clean it up.

also, if i do cvs update regularly, i shouldnt need to resetup everything right?

all but 1 of those files are in cvs.. don't know why you dont get them.

oh, did you forget the -d flag in your cvs update? then you won't get any new directories added to cvs.

you were right! it didnt make mention of the -d flag when updating on the cvs howto written here. but i did try it and it had the same effect. so since i havent installed yet actually on this machine, i wiped clean and tried again and true you are right, im missing one file:

you can ignore that missing file and install.

which "howto" are you referring to? the G2 FAQ does mention -d
