Applet slideshow and duplicate names

Hello

I have noticed a problem when viewing the fullscreen slideshow with the applet. When names are the same for multiple files, the applet will show the first loaded file every time that the same name is ecountered. This is particullary obvious (and annoying) when doing the entire gallery slideshow.

For example, my album(s) contain pictures:

Name              What is it              What will show on the slideshow
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.jpg                London                 London
2.jpg                Paris                  Paris
3.jpg                Washington             Washington
4.jpg                Rome                   Rome
1.jpg                Zurich                 London
2.jpg                Moscow                 Paris
1.jpg                Vienna                 London

I hope that I am being clear enough.

If this is a limitation of the slideshow applet, and can not be changed, what is a good way to rename all images in the gallery?

[Moved to Gallery remote. The slideshow is a part of the GR java "suite"]

Thanks for bringing this big bug to my attention. It's been fixed in GR 1.4.2-b10. You can install that version of the applets from the nightly site: http://galleryupdates.jpmullan.com/
