Weird Layout Problem

I had everything working great and all of the sudden it seems as if a table has collapsed or something. I originally had 3 columns and 4 rows and all was well. As I was making some other changes (nothing to do with layout I don't think) I came back to my main gallery page and now look... http://ourphotos.org/gallery2/main.php All the images are at the bottom. I tried to make it now 2 columns to see if that would work but it didn't. Any ideas?

your site looks fine to me.
if you mean the images move below the sidebar when viewed with IE and the window isn't wide enough, see this and this and this and this.

also, i noticed your G1 has a select box to jump to any album.. that feature was recently added to G2 if you want to try it out (album select module).

Great thanks... I actually did a search but I guess not for the right phrase, or just not good enough. I'll check out the album select module too.

Thanks again, Chris

It's weird that the layout problem had been fixed for the cvs downloaded on Jan 15, 2005. However, the problem occur again for the latest cvs. Is there any change of layout recently?

I'm not sure, I see what looks to be a change in that layout.css.php file.

/* Hides from IE-mac \*/
* html .#gsContents {height: 1%;}
/* End hide from IE-mac */

But I can't get it to work in IE at all unless I set my screen resolution at 1152x864 which hurts my eyes. It was looking fine and all the sudden it just collapsed and now I can't get it back looking the way it used to. All the photos are at the bottom of the page, with a huge white space to the right of the nav.

See
the "fix" caused other problems and was rolled back.
one easy solution: don't use IE

Hi mindless,

IE users will appreciate the fix.
Could you tell us one or two examples what the "other problems" are?
Thanks.

Other aspects of the website were either not displaying, or being displayed behind the main content. It is an open issue, and if no one else is worried about it, at least I am, because I am the IE user of the group :D

use of absolute positioning ended up covering the footer.
