Block-random causes DNS error??

Up until today, my random-block was working fine.

But today, it causes the page to have a DNS error. I was using SSI (shtml) to insert the block-random into my main page.

Here is the URL to the block random file: http://www.fastmagna.com/gallery/block-random-enhanced.php

(even the normal http://www.fastmagna.com/gallery/block-random.php does not work either)

My web host has said no changes have been done on the servers. SSI and PHP are both enabled and seem to work fine for everything else. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Kim

hmm, theres not heaps of images - a few hundred I guess.

The Gallery still works fine - www.fastmagna.com/gallery/ - just not randomblock :(

I've tried re-uploading the block-random php files... still no luck.

Cheers,
Kim

Did you read FAQ Gallery:c.16 and try it?

I've emailed that to my web-host (I don't run my own server, so can't restart Apache).

I will see what they say. I don't get any particular error though (php_value memory_limit [new memory limit]) - just the "page cannot be displayed" in IE, or in Firefox there is just no data recieved.

I will see what the host says, anyway.

Cheers,
Kim

You should really check the server's error logs to see if anything's being thrown by PHP, but not reported in the page.

I'll get my web host to check that too (I dont think I have access to the sites error logs)

I had a problem that was sort of like yours. I kept getting the DNS error. I finally found this and it fixed it. http://www.fixieonline.com/pagefix
