Gallery and PhpBB

Hi!

I want to log in in my gallery with my forum's (phpbb2) user accounts
but i don't want gallery to be a module of phpbb.

something like this:

log in page: www.mydomain.com/login.php -> based om phpbb login script

gallery: www.mydomain.com/gallery
forum: www.mydomain.com/forum

so users log in once and are authorised for the 2 applications

someone who can help me or knows a good tutorial?
