Side-by-side installs of G1 and G2

Hello,
I'm itching to play around with G2, and now that there's a semi-working embed for PostNuke, I think I'm ready to start. However, I don't want to screw up my existing G1 gallery. Is it possible to install G2 and import G1's data without messing up the G1 install? Will G1 still work after installing G2 and importing from it?

The answer is yes. Your G1 will not be harmed by migrating to G2 and having both installed. I actually have this currently setup on my server, as do many others.

Also I am moving this to the support forum.
