FfMPEG Problem - thumbnails????

FFMPEG is not creating thumbs, I posted about this awhile ago but it was never resolved. I tried again with a new movie file, if I try to do the edit move and do the thumbnail thing, it gives an error then it will not let me delete the movie.

Any idea what's causing this prblem? The movie is an AVI file about 9 megs in size imported from local server. Upon import I did create thumb, then I tried to create one myself when it didn't do it.

enable buffered debug mode in config.php then try adding the file again and find the ffmpeg command that it runs to build the thumbnail. try that same command from the command line and see if it creates a valid image file.. if not then the problem lies with ffmpeg's ability to handle your particular file and there isn't much we can do, unless you can find different command line parameters that do allow it to work..
