Problems with the Thumbnails.

Hi,

I've upgrade my gallery to the last version 1.3.1. Everything is OK without the thumbnails. The thumbnails are not showing on the site. Please check it and help me.

Server specifications:

Mandrake Linux 8.2 server
PHP latest version I think 4.2.2
Apache 1.3
Gallery version 1.3.1.

I'm waiting for a response. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

The thumbnails are all blocky on your site because you skipped step 2 of the upgrade process (ie, you didn't put it in config mode before unpacking the new code). Doh.

Here's what you've got to to do to fix it:
1. put gallery in config mode
2. re-do the upgrade (unpack the 1.3.1 tarball again)
3. Everywhere you find blocky thumbnails, do the [rebuild thumbnails] option
4. Same for blocky highlighted images

How can I put the gallery in config mode? Can you tell me step after step? Please.

By config mode, I believe he means run the configure.sh or configure.bat
file, then proceed with the upgrade. And do as he says.

Mustinl, I guess you've fixed your problem, your link to your website works.

I have the same problem though, a little different. My gallery works on my internal network but when I access the below link it does not work. I am using Apache 1.3 too. I think the problem is my httpd.conf on my Apache, I am a newbie on using this but can you email me how you configured your httpd.conf...
