language without gettext

hello! is it possible to install a language without gettext over php code? i have no c compiler on my macosx server installed

Unfortunately, no. G2 requires gettext compiled into PHP in order to do localization.

On Mac OS X, try Complete PHP 4.3.9. Pre-compiled and includes gettext. ;)
