photos on external server?

Is it possible to show photo's in my gallery wich are stored on an other server? The problem is I have a limited amount of serverspace wich is sufficient most of the time but next month I want to show a lot of photo's for wich I don't have enough space. |

Unfortunately, not now. Gallery needs the albums to be stored somewhere in the server path. The only exception is if your buddy sets up his server so you can mount the remote server locally, then it should be feasible (since it's now on the local path).
(...although I imagine image uploads would be painfully slow via Gallery, though you could keep a copy of Gallery on the friend's server just for uploading). You would provide the local path to the albums directory through the mount point, but use the external URL for your albums directory to speed it up. (I haven't tried this, however... and you'd both need root access to your boxen).
