Hi,
I'm a new Gallery user and I've just started to use Gallery 2.
I've got few albums in my gallery now, but I'm experiencing a problem with Gallery 2.
As things are now, upon upload of a new album Gallery append it to the tail. My request is to sort albums in such a way that the newest should be on top of all others (i.e. descending by creation date). I try to set the referring flags in the "General" block of the admin part but nothing happens.
The result is that when somebody searches for the newest album in my gallery often it can't find it because it's not logic that the newest album is the last in the gallery (especially when albums are arranged in several pages)
How could I solve this problem? Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Do "edit album" and set the desired sort.
Try updating to the latest daily snapshot, as album sorting was recently updated to more clearly show the setting in Site Admin as the default setting which can be overridden in any album.
