Help with creating a database

	Pleae, please can anyone help, am trying to create a blank database but unable to get any software installed. As a newbie I did not understand any of the software used like MySQL 3.x, MySQL 4.x, PostgreSQL 7.x, Oracle 9i or 10g . Any help would be appreicated

	What is your working environment? OS? Does your host preinstall anything like MySQL?
