how to set a user to upload?

Ok i the gallery to work but when i made a user i can upload anything? only the admin can up load?

the only thing the user can do is view slideshow's

Log in as admin and click the "edit permissions" link and grant the user permissions to add new items.

No. You can create a group, like "Users who can Upload" and give that group the permission wherever appropriate, then when you add a new user you can just put them in that group. Of couse you *can* assign individual user permissions if you want, but groups are easier and more efficient in the database.
