Creative use of random block, could it be done?

Hi all,

I've been thinking about this idea.. could a few simple changes be made so that upon clicking a displayed thumbnail/image in an instance of a Random Block, the user gets directed to an area of the site specific to that image's owner's username?

Basically I'm naming empty modules after specific users, and if let's say an image is displayed in the random block, the user who uploaded the picture in question is "pault", or perhaps the album this image happens to reside in is called "pault" (either would work) would it be possible to make that displayed image link to a URL with the username inside of it (ie: websitename.com/index.php?module=pault) instead of going to a full-sized version of the pic?

I'm not too familiar with how I'd go about doing this. Any help would be very appreciated, thanks in advance for any time spent replying.
