Hi all,

GREAT WORK GUYS!!!!

Which is the better way to change what is around gallery, I mean header, footer and page and text colour?

I think the most efficent solution is to change templates/global.tpl, I'm wrong or I must create a new theme?

And for changing the page background color and the text font and color, where must I put my hands?

With future version of g2 will change this system of customization or not? And if it change we must redo all, right?

Thanks for all the help and again... YOU ARE GREAT!!!

Bye,
Filippo

for header/footer see instructions at the top of templates/global.tpl

for colors/fonts, etc that does go with the theme.. and yes, changes may still be made to the theme system.. you can make a copy of matrix theme and edit that with your customizations.

filippo81, you have to:

1. Copy themes/matrix/ over to your new name
2. Edit the theme.inc file in that new dir. Search&Replace the word "Matrix" with your new name.
3. After that, you will already have the option as a theme in G2.
4. You can then customize the theme basically by modifying things in styles/theme.css

Have fun!

ah ok....

I understand the difference between layout (how items group and show togheter) and themes (how they appear) some minutes after my previous post.

Thanks again,
Filippo
