Cart settings

Hi Friends, :D

Just installed G2 and trying it ,
Excellent piece of work.
I was setting the gallery and when I go to the cart settings I get this message.

Cart Settings No available settings for the Cart module.

Where am I going wrong, How do I add options and how to set the checout process.
I think my installation is complete or have I missed anything.

It sounds like your G2 is over a month old if it has a Cart Settings screen in Site Admin. But in an older G2 or the current codebase try activating the PhotoAccess print module.. that's the only cart plugin currently available. Then when you're in the View Cart screen you'll have a Print to PhotoAccess option in the cart actions list.

Hi Mindless,

Yes my gallery is about a month old but I downloaded it yesterday, it is 2004-08-07 version.
It also has the PhotoAccess module, but the cart I want is where the user can send me orders and not to photoaccess. something like the Jenado cart. Is it possible.

The problem I am having with the Jenado cart is that it works well standalone but gives errors in postnuke as I have mentioned in my earlier posts, but have had no replies till now.

Also if you could tell me how to embed G2 in postnuke.

I'm a newbie so please help.

Is this some kind of riddle? How can a gallery be a month old, but downloaded yesterday and why would you download an obsolete alpha version? Where did you get this version from?

We're making G2 ready for CMS integration and it may take some weeks before we're finished. We will create instructions, etc. to make future CMS integrations as easy as possible.

A silly mistake on my side, I downloaded the first file on the download page instead of the last file, from this page http://www.fw2.net/files/gallery/

I am downloading the latest version today

PhotoAccess is the only cart plugin currently available, but the Cart module was written so that many cart actions can be implemented in separate modules. Please file a feature request on sourceforge for what you'd like to see for cart processing in G2.
