I set up the standalone random-module for Gallery 1.4.1 and first it worked.
After refreshing I got the following error message:

Quote:
Warning: rand() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /home/steffgod/public_html/gallery/block-random.php on line 138
ERROR: requested index [] out of bounds [9]
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/steffgod/public_html/gallery/classes/Album.php on line 962

I tested this problem serveral times by deleting the block-random.cache file. I alway got the same result.
I don t even know what this error message means.

Can someone explain me the error which came up - does someone know a solution? (I searched the forum already for some problems like that without result)

Thanks a lot for your help

First, you should upgrade. 1.4.1 has security issues, and 1.4.4 contains an updated random block script.

Second, what version of PHP are you using?

Thanks a lot - I try to upgrade Gallery.

PHP Version 4.3.8

Lets see if the error will stay
