Adding columns or rearranging layout - how?

Hi... currently Gallery works by having the picture on the left with the album description on the right.

Is there any way to have it work in 2 columns - left and right side are pictures/thumbnails, and below them are the album descriptions.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Do you mean like how they appear inside the albums with the number of columns set to 2? Well, I'm no scripter.. but if you mean what I think you mean, then perhaps you could just get around it by creating one album, and then putting all of your other albums into that one album as sub-albums.. set that one album's properties so there are two columns, and then add the descriptions to those sub-albums. Then when you link to your gallery, you could link to that album.

I'm not sure if that is exactly what you are looking for though, and it isn't really any kind of customization, just a lazy way of doing it, I guess.. =P

I have got the same question too. The main gallery shows the album thumbnails on the left and the tekst (owner, comments, views, etc) on the right. But it would be a lot cooler to have two columns in the main gallery, showing all this information but compressing it slightly so that you can actually see, for instance, 3 pictures on the left with description about the albums, and 3 on the right, again with description.

The way gallery is set up is cool but it's not extremely easy to find how to change something, a really good idea would be to have the same 'preference' menu in the main gallery as you have in the sub-galleries, where you can change the size of your thumnail, how many you want to see in one screen, whether you want to have a count, background colour, etc...

Cheers
