Recursive dating

I'm not sure if this feature is already implemented, but I have searched all over. I would like the main gallery "last changed" date on each album to reflect changes that occur in the subalbums. So when I add files to a subalbum, the main gallery page album doesn't have the old date, but the new updated date of the subalbums. Seems like this wouldn't be too difficult to do. Is this possible?
